Thaxton Joins Alliance as Communications and Marketing Manager
The Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that E’Lyse Thaxton joined our team as the Communications and Marketing Manager in February.
In collaboration with the Alliance CEO, Thaxton’s primary responsibility is the creation and implementation of an economic and community development marketing and communications plan including content creation, social media, and direct business attraction and expansion marketing initiatives.
“With her wealth of experience in marketing and communications, E’Lyse will be a tremendous asset to the Alliance team,” said Shelley Short, CEO of the Alliance. “She is enthusiastic and eager to join us as we grow Clark County’s economy and promote the area as a destination for business, tourism, and talent.”
A native of Hope, Arkansas, Thaxton brings over six years of experience in the marketing and communications field, currently serving as the Marketing Manager for the Office of Admissions at Henderson State University.
Thaxton is a graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a M.A. in Communications and Henderson State University with a B.A. in Innovative Media, and her work has been published in Arkadelphia Life, Arkansas Next, Arkansas Bound, the Arkansas Times College Guide, and other regional publications.
