Quality of life is the ambiance of everything.  I have grandchildren here and I get to take them hunting and fishing regularly.  All of the natural resources throughout Clark County are easily accessible.  After a ten-minute drive from my house, I'm in the midst of some of the state's best duck hunting.  Plus, we boast one of the largest deer populations in the U.S., and it's right here.  We have a fair number of ducks, small game, and some of the best fishing in Arkansas - right here.

The Ouachita River, the little Missouri, the Terre Noire - they all border this county.  We also have an unusually large number of streams compared with other Arkansas communities.  Then there's the Caddo River, which creates a border then comes out into the middle of the county and forms Lake DeGray, one of the most beautiful lakes in Arkansas.  Lake DeGray hosts the only state park in Arkansas that is actually on a lake, bringing in over one million visitors every single year.

My favorite place to hunt is eight thousand acres of public hunting right her in Clark County.  There's dove in September, then deer season, which overlaps with duck season, then on to turkey season, and then it's time for golf.  That's it.  That's my year.  I wouldn't have it any other way.
