Additionally, the universities' sports teams offer the interested spectator the chance to watch football, baseball, tennis, and other sports at the Division II level. 

Senior housing is available at two Arkadelphia assisted living facilities, Courtyard Gardens Health & Rehabilitation and Twin Rivers Health & Rehabilitation. In addition, the Gardens Retirement Community development in Arkadelphia is geared toward people age 55 and older and offers homes for sale or lease and features yard care services, unlimited use of the Clubhouse, and help arranging for services such as in-home healthcare, food delivery, and cleaning services.
