HENDERSON STATE NATIONAL GIRLS/WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY
This is an annual event held on the campus of Henderson State University in conjunction with the National Day of Girls and Women in Sports Day. This day is to recognize all those females involved in physical education and sports. It is to highlight the benefits and accomplishments through the years. The event will be held at the Garrison Lecture Hall beginning at 12:30-1:15 on Tuesday, January 31st. Special Speaker is Annette Scogin, recent President of the National Athletic Directors Association. This year is a special year as it recognizes the 40th anniversary of Title IX. Please come out and support a very worthy cause.
